We had no issue connecting the mic to a Mac Pro using Garageband, which makes it a decent fit for recording basic podcast/interview vocals in a studio. Shotgun mics aren't always ideal in studio settings, but we found it worked just fine. The various filter modes were helpful for getting a crisper vocal sound, or allowing the lows to pass through for a richer vocal. The only issue here is the lack of a mic stand adapter.

Using a Lightning adapter, we also connected the mic to an iPhone 8 and recorded audio without issue. That said, since that the 3.5mm output is being used, you can't monitor via wired headphones, so it's a trust-your-signal (and arm the safety channel) scenario unless you monitor via Bluetooth headphones. Recordings we made using various apps (such as Apple's own Voice Memos and Shure Motiv) turned out just fine—we kept the gain low and recorded using the safety track. We never noticed any RF interference here, nor when we used the mic in the various other recording scenarios.
